Children's Book Content Editor Needed

I'm looking for a skilled book layout designer with experience in children's books (age 7 target) to support the creation of a fully illustrated book.

We already have the full manuscript and several completed illustrations by a professional illustrator. What we need now is a layout designer who can:

- Define where and how to insert illustrations within the text, providing clear guidelines on dimensions and placement for the illustrator
- Create a harmonious page layout using Adobe InDesign
- Perform a final layout check before the book goes to print.

The book will be in 17 x 24 cm format, and the current manuscript (text only) is about 120 pages in Word (estimated length with illustrations: 140 pages).

Ideal skills:

- Italian mother tongue
- Strong experience in children’s book layout and typesetting
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- Ability to collaborate with illustrators and authors
- Attention to storytelling flow and visual balance
- Committed to meeting deadlines as agreed
