Caraval-Inspired Fantasy Ghostwriter Wanted

I’m shaping a young-adult fantasy novel that echoes the enchanting, puzzle-box feel of CARAVAL while steering clear of romance, smut, or any such graphic scenes. The heart of the project is deep world-building: layered history, unique magic rules, vivid locales, and an overarching sense of wonder and mystery that keeps readers turning pages.

What I’m looking for
A collaborator who enjoys inventing intricate settings, atmospheric plotlines, and memorable characters for a mysterious-and-magical tone. I don't want the books to match—one that could sit on the same shelf as CARAVAL without imitating it.

Why collaborate here
I’m funding this through passion rather than a wallet, so the role is unpaid. In return, you’ll receive full ghostwriting credit in your résumé/portfolio (an acknowledgment page credit can also be discussed if you prefer visibility). If you’re building experience, this is a chance to stretch your creative muscles on a full-length manuscript.

Expected deliverables
• A concise world-building bible (history, geography, culture, magic system)
• Chapter outline covering major beats and cliff-hangers
• First three polished sample chapters (≈8–10k words total)
• Ongoing consultation on revisions until the full draft reaches a cohesive 70–80k words

Acceptance criteria
The setting must feel cohesive, fresh, and internally consistent; prose should carry a lyrical, mysterious vibe; and all content must remain PG-13.

Tools & workflow
Google Docs or Word for live edits, with weekly check-ins via email or chat. If you prefer Scrivener, that works too—just share exports.
