Academic Thesis Retyping & Updates
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I have a collection of theses and research papers already in older DOC/DOCX files. Each document needs to be re-typed into a fresh, error-free Word file so they are ready for seamless digital publication.
Scope of work
• Open the existing Word file, re-enter the content in a new document, and proof as you go to remove any hidden formatting glitches or stray symbols that linger from previous edits.
• Keep the layout clean and consistent—headings, paragraphs, and reference lists—without worrying about strict university or style-guide rules; basic, polished formatting is enough.
• Several manuscripts will require new tables or figures inserted from my notes, while others need light wording updates. A few are straight retypes with no extra changes. I will flag each file’s needs before you start.
Deliverables
1. A fully re-typed, proofed Word document for every thesis or paper I send.
2. Any added tables/figures placed accurately and captioned.
3. Revised text clearly tracked so I can review before finalising.
Accuracy, speed, and solid Microsoft Word skills are key. If this sounds straightforward, let’s begin with one paper and move through the rest as milestones.
