Title: Study on the Economic Impact of Shrimp Fisheries in a Local Area
I am looking for a professional to support a study on the economic impact of shrimp and turbot fisheries (those fisheries could close in 2024 so we have to understand what are going to be all the impacts) and other fisheries over the period of 2013 to today in a specific local area in Canada. The study will primarily focus on the employment aspect of the fisheries and global economic impacts.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in fisheries economics and research
- Experience in conducting economic impact assessments
- Familiarity with the shrimp fishing industry and its dynamics in Canada with be helpful
- Proficient in data collection and analysis
- Ability to identify and analyze employment trends and patterns within the industry
- Knowledge of local economic and social factors that may influence the shrimp fisheries
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations
Project Deliverables:
- We will take care of the interviews.
-You will take care of gathering the existing data, and producing a comprehensive report outlining the economic impact of fisheries (mainly shrimp and turbot) on employment and economic in the local area in Canada
- Statistical analysis of employment data related to the fishing industry in the region
- Identification of key factors influencing employment within the industry
- Recommendations for potential improvements or interventions to enhance employment opportunities
Timeline and Budget:
- The project is expected to be completed within 6 months. We would request a methodology abd project
- The budget for this project is up to 10 000USD.
