Urban Spatial Economics Thesis Guidance
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am writing a Master of Science thesis in spatial economics, with an explicit focus on urban economics. My central empirical chapter is a meta-analysis that will culminate in a meta-regression, and I need an experienced researcher to guide me through both the econometric work and the academic writing that follows.
Here is what I am looking for:
• Conceptual support – helping me sharpen the research question and frame the meta-analysis so it aligns with current urban-spatial literature.
• Technical mentorship – building the meta-regression step by step, selecting the right effect-size metrics, running heterogeneity diagnostics, publication-bias tests, and robustness checks in Stata, R, or Python (whichever you are most comfortable with).
• Writing guidance – translating the statistical output into clear, publishable academic prose, including tables, figures, and a discussion that addresses policy relevance for urban planners.
I will share my preliminary bibliography, inclusion criteria, and any data I have already extracted. In return, I’d like scheduled feedback on each milestone (protocol, dataset, estimation, interpretation, final chapter draft) plus short video or written explanations of tricky steps so I can defend them confidently.
If you have a proven track record in urban or regional meta-studies, are comfortable walking a graduate student through econometric code, and enjoy tightening academic writing, I would be happy to collaborate.
