EViews ARDL Hypothesis Testing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an experienced EViews user to run an ARDL model that will let me formally test a clearly-defined hypothesis on a set of financial variables. The data are already collected in raw Excel sheets; what I’m missing is the best-practice workflow that takes those figures from rough form to a defendable econometric result.
Here’s what I expect the engagement to cover:
• Initial guidance on cleaning and transforming the raw series (log/level choices, missing values, outlier checks).
• Stationarity diagnostics, optimal lag selection and the full bounds-test procedure inside EViews.
• Estimation and interpretation of the long-run and short-run coefficients that speak directly to the hypothesis.
• Delivery of the EViews workfile together with a brief write-up summarising each step, key statistics and the final conclusion.
If you normally add extras such as robustness tests or visualisations, feel free to suggest them—but the core objective is the hypothesis test itself. Clear, reproducible code and concise explanations are essential.
