E-commerce Web Platform for Trade Members
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 AUD
I'm seeking an experienced web developer with a strong e-commerce background to help create a comprehensive online platform for my wholesale distribution business. This platform will primarily cater to our approved trade members.
Key Requirements:
- Backend Development: The platform will potentially use BigCommerce where we can host our complete product inventory (no images, data set is ready).
- Order Management: The system should facilitate raising quotes, orders and purchase orders, all in alignment with our standard operating practices. MYOB integration is a must for post-order segmentation and supplier-specific purchase orders.
- Customer Interface: We need a secure customer login/dashboard for our trade members. This dashboard should allow members to download quotes, track orders, access order history, make payments for quotations/orders, and request order samples.
- Payment Gateway: The platform should support Credit/Debit Card and Bank Transfer payments.
- Shipping Integration: This includes both sampling and local couriers. We also need integration with National and International carriers for product delivery once received at our warehouse.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in e-commerce web development with BigCommerce or similar platforms.
- Experience with MYOB and creating tailored e-commerce solutions.
- Knowledge in secure customer interface development.
- Expertise in integrating varied payment methods and shipping carriers.
- Strong understanding of order management systems in a wholesale context.
