I have three sites I would like to perform the following on, but we’ll start with one.
I am seeking an experienced WordPress and WooCommerce developer to set up and design a new e-commerce store. My goal is to create a professional, visually appealing, and highly functional online shop that seamlessly integrates with my existing Amazon product catalog and prioritizes lead capture.
Key Requirements:
WooCommerce Theme Setup & Styling:
Set up a WooCommerce-compatible theme on my existing WordPress site.
I am currently considering Astra as the base theme, but I am open to suggestions for other lightweight, customizable, and high-performance WooCommerce-ready themes.
The theme must be styled and customized to reflect the aesthetic and branding of my current website. I will provide access to my current site for design reference.
Amazon Fulfillment Integration:
Integrate the WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment plugin to manage order fulfillment for products listed on Amazon. All my products are currently listed on Amazon, so this is a critical component for order processing and inventory management.
Payment Gateway Configuration:
Set up and configure the following payment gateways:
Amazon Pay (potentially "Buy with Prime" if applicable for multi-item cart checkout).
PayPal
Stripe (for credit/debit card processing and various local payment methods).
Crucial Requirement: Email Address Capture Before Checkout:
It is essential to capture the customer's email address before they proceed with payment, particularly when using payment methods like Amazon Pay that may not directly provide the email address.
I am open to the best technical solution for this, but here are my preferred options:
Option A (Preferred): On the WooCommerce checkout page, make the email address field the very first required step before any other checkout fields or payment options are presented. The user must submit their email to proceed to the next step, which would then display shipping details, payment methods, etc.
Option B (Alternative): If Option A is not feasible or optimal, implement a pop-up or modal that appears immediately when a user clicks a "Pay with Amazon" (or similar quick checkout) button. This pop-up would require the user to enter their email address before being redirected to the Amazon Pay checkout flow.
Deliverables:
Fully set up and configured WooCommerce store.
Customized theme design matching existing branding.
Working Amazon Fulfillment integration.
Configured Amazon Pay, PayPal, and Stripe payment gateways.
