Shopify Web Developer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for an enthusiastic Shopify Web Developer to help us with development work with Recharge Subscription App. Your work will be integral part of the company's development to create rich and interactive front-end solutions.
Static products in bundles.
• Ability to “hide” or limit the customers ability to edit the static products that are included in the bundle.
• This can be done with custom dev to create a bundle that is both static & dynamic, and allows customers to subscribe to the whole bundle.
Removal of digital “e-books” from the bundle following initial purchase.
• If a customer subscribes to a bundle, a digital ebook is included in the first checkout. For subsequent purchases, there needs to be a way for the ebook to be dropped from the order.
• Use AJAX “Add to cart” functionality so that when customers checkout with a bundle or kit, the ebooks are automatically added to the cart as a free item, not included in the subscription bundle.
• Ensure a seamless connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize the store for sheer performance and needed functionalities.
Skills involved:
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery is a must.
• Exposure to application development & ruby scripting.
• Shopify Plug-in optimization, and customization.
• Strong programming knowledge of “Liquid” for Shopify Stores and Shopify Themes is a must-have.
• Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM.
• Experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API
• Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, product bundling, subscriptions, as well as building unique solutions if needed.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, and current JavaScript frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
