Our company is seeking an experienced Prestashop developer to upgrade our existing e-commerce website from version 1.7.5.2 to version 8.0.3. The upgrade process will be conducted in a staging environment to ensure that the website remains functional during the transition.
We require the freelancer to have a thorough understanding of the Prestashop platform and the upgrade process. The selected freelancer must sign a GDPR agreement before commencing work to ensure the protection of customer data. The freelancer must also commit to completing the project within the agreed budget and timeframe.
The scope of the project includes the following tasks:
Upgrading the Prestashop platform from version 1.7.5.2 to version 8.0.3
Ensuring that all existing features and functionality are maintained in the new version
Testing the new version thoroughly in the staging environment to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
Providing documentation of the upgrade process for future reference and for applying to the live environment.
