Need Research to setup of an e-commerce ART work website, from scratch
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
PROJECT DETAILS:
I want to open an e-commerce store that sells ART-WORKS related to privacy (PFA). These can be:
1) Online Privacy (Data e.g. data leaks, facebook/google breaches, etc.)
3) Financial Privacy
3) Human Rights Privacy (e.g. happens in many countries, also journalism)
4) Personal privacy (right to be left alone, 1st/4th/5th US amendment)
I am starting from scratch, literally. This is an interesting project/task which is PURELY RESEARCH BASED at your end. Ultimately, I would like the web-shop to run on auto-pilot:
1) Digital or hand-drawn (traditional) art? Which has a better market presence, and why?
2) Think in terms of demand vs sale price vs cost optimization (Digital vs. Hand-drawn art).
3) What type of art would be more in-demand? Wall painting/mural/other forms?
4) Find out geographies/countries where the market for ARTs and PRIVACY arts will be HOT. e.g. in India, people don't yet care too much about privacy.
Based on the above answer, below requirements need to be clearly met.
REQUIREMENT:
I need details from A-to-Z of:
[ 1 ] How does one first setup an e-commerce website?
[ 2 ] What model would work best to procure art? (e.g. it may not be feasible for me to purchase arts first, display & later wait for sales. Note: Most artists can do exceptional digital arts for $20-50. This can become costly if we purchase with many arts upfront.
OR
Would a sharing model with artists work better (i.e. no costs incurred to me. e.g. give a 30% cut on sales. The artist produces the art it is only displayed on webshop. But, artist holds the rights until sales. How would each model exactly work & which one is more feasible/better in the long term & why?
[ 3 ] Where can we find exceptional artists online (reddit, instagram, google, forums)? Preferably, passionate artists who are poor/not recognized yet, but open to any kind of talent anywhere. Please help find them out for me (at least top 10 optimized for quality & cost, check out with them - and see what they may offer).
[ 4 ] For the above model, I might need multiple artists each of who specialize in their niche and provide variety. How would this be integrated into the e-commerce shop?
[ 5 ] Any copyright issues of artist to worry about?
[ 6 ] How does one make the e-commerce for art-work global? Think in terms of shipping, etc. If it is digital-art, it can be printed near customer's geographical location easily, hand-painting will become tricky.
[ 7 ] Which country is best to set this up? Is India feasible given the following, in order?
(a) Great quality
(b) Reasonable cost of printing goods/design, etc.
(c) Low-cost "international shipment" worldwide, & time taken for shipment worldwide
(d) Accessibility
(e) Supplier/Artist trust
[ 8 ] Do we need to tie-up with "certain courier company" for local & international shipment? Give a price-analysis for the same?
[ 9 ] Once a customer places the order on the web-shop. Give me a breakdown of how would ordering process work? e.g. drop-shipping for printing say, digital art and then courier? ?
[ 10 ] Ways to promote the e-commerce? Writing blogs, etc.?
[ 11 ] List companies for printing in relevant geographical areas. With a focus on quality and print cost.
[ 12 ] How to SCALE & run the web-shop in an auto-pilot fashion i.e. without myself be able to monitor all the time?
[ 13 ] Do we need any dedicated employees for the web-shop? If so, how would that work - and what should be there monthly salary for the above?
[ 14 ] How to set-up payment systems? I would want to be able to accept VISA/master-card, etc.
