Information Architecture Design for Multivendor Marketplace Integrating Chinese Shopping Agents and APIs

Project Overview:
We are looking for an experienced freelancer with knowledge or experience in the chinese shopping market industry with familiarity or knowledge about with shopping agents (superbut, pandabuy, Cssbuy etc), chinese marketplaces (taobao, weidian, 1688 etc), ecommerce/multivendor marketplaces, apis and documentation to create an information architecture (IA) diagram for our multivendor marketplace website. This website will streamline the purchasing process for global customers buying from Chinese sellers by integrating various functionalities from chinese shopping agents by APIs and inviting sellers to our platform.
Key Features to Include (these arent the only things we want so we are relying on your experience and creativity to add more features and functionalities besides this:
We will divide this project into three phazes and work with them individually.
Phaze 1: customer side of the platform
Phaze 2: sellers side
Phaze 3 admin controlling everything
We will begin with phaze 1
1. Customer Platform:
- Homepage Sections: Featured products, popular products, newly added products, trending stores, promotional products, notice, and blog center.
- Product Pages: Detailed product information, reviews, availability checks.
- Order Management: Order details, parcel tracking, order cancellation, refund applications.
- Checkout: Shipping rate estimation, seamless payment processing.
2. Seller Platform:
- Product Management: Create product listings, add product links, upload images, add product information (weight, dimensions, description, title).
- Order Management: View and manage orders, update shipping status.
3. Admin Platform:
- User Management: Manage seller and customer accounts.
- Platform Monitoring: Monitor activities, performance metrics.
Skills Required:
- Experience in information architecture and UX design
- Knowledge or experience with e-commerce platforms, multivendor marketplaces, the general chinese shopping market and chinese shopping agents.
- Familiarity with API integrations and API documentation
- Ability to create clear and comprehensive IA diagrams
Deliverables:
- Information architecture diagram depicting the structure and relationship of all sections and features
- Annotations and explanations for each section to ensure clear understanding
Submission:
Please provide examples of previous IA diagrams you have created, along with your approach to this project. Include your availability and estimated timeframe for completion.
