Fix Google Merchant Feed Error
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for a skilled freelancer to help us resolve a major feed issue in our Google Merchant Center. We operate a large Shopify-based e-commerce store (98K+ SKUs), and approximately 53,000 products are currently disapproved due to the error:
“Invalid checkout link [checkout link template]”
Scope of Work:
Diagnose the root cause of the invalid checkout link issue.
Ensure that all affected products have valid product/checkout URLs in the feed.
Update or remap the link attribute properly using the correct product URLs.
Trigger a resync or resubmit the corrected product feed.
Validate the fix by checking approval status in Merchant Center.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Shopify Google Channel or custom feed tools (e.g., Simprosys, DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics).
Solid understanding of Google Merchant Center diagnostics and policies.
Familiarity with large product catalogs (50K+ SKUs).
Ability to fix and validate bulk errors efficiently.
Bonus: Ability to clean up other issues (e.g., excessive capitalization, missing GTINs).
