My business specialises in high-quality, carefully selected craft supplies—some handmade, some sourced from trusted manufacturers—distinct from generic, bulk-imported products. The site should also include a section for digital offerings (e.g., patterns, tutorials), and be designed for future expansion (such as a community forum for crafters).
Key Requirements:
UK-based designer/developer (for ease of ongoing communication and understanding of UK e-commerce practices)
Site requirements - about, contact and email linked site, with shop/online sales, community forum, social media linked, blog and SEO. I’d like user accounts with their ability to link to a forum and post narrative and videos.
Strong e-commerce and product catalogue experience (preferably with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar)
Ability to integrate digital product delivery (downloads, member content)
Mobile-friendly, accessible design
SEO and basic marketing best practices included
Willingness to provide ongoing support and collaborate as the business grows, particularly with respect to evolving business strategy and on-going online marketing needs.
Optional, but valued:
Experience working with craft, creative, or small retail brands
Knowledge of community/forum integration (now or in future)
