I have 8 completed novels that need a professional cleanup before final publishing. These are already written and laid out, but I need them polished to a professional, KDP-ready standard. I am looking for a freelancer who can handle the following tasks:
What I Need:
Proofreading & Grammar Check
Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Ensure consistency of tense and voice across chapters.
Fix any obvious typos or repeated words.
Formatting for KDP (Kindle & Print)
Ensure margins, spacing, headers, and footers are correct.
Proper chapter breaks, table of contents, and page numbering.
Format both eBook and paperback versions for Amazon KDP standards.
Consistency & Flow
Make sure character names, story details, and terminology are consistent throughout the books.
Smooth out awkward sentences or unclear phrasing while keeping my writing style intact.
Remove unnecessary "Panel 1 / Panel 2" type notes or placeholder text that might have been left behind.
Final Polish
Deliver clean, professional manuscripts in both Word (.docx) and PDF format.
Ensure everything looks sharp and ready for upload without rejection issues from KDP.
