Poetry eBook Conversion
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I am looking for someone to take my print manuscript for a poetry collection and convert it to a fully-functional eBook.
It's important that you understand poetry formatting and my need to ensure that individual formats for the poems stay intact when read by Kindle users, etc, as opposed to the text going out of shape, line, formatting, etc, when manipulated by readers on their devices. This is my main reason for seeking help as I don't seem to be able to find a solution myself that is achievable with my limited knowledge on eBook formatting.
My print manuscript also contains images and footnotes. It's important that you are able to create a solution for the eBook version which includes my footnotes without disturbing the rest of the text.
Where I'm at so far: I have started the process of eBook conversion and have got as far as pasting the print manuscript into a new MS Word Doc, removing page numbers, creating a linked table of contents, adding hyperlinks where needed, and shuffling front and end pages to make the eBook more accessible.
I am still finalising some content to be included, so will be looking at starting this job in September, but trying to get ahead with my organisation so I have a plan of attack in place. I'm aiming for a November publication date.
