2 Book covers science fiction for KDP Kindle
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm in need of two medium-sized book covers for a science fiction work that I plan to publish on KDP Kindle. I already have an idea image in mind for these book covers, and am looking for someone who can turn this idea into a digital, professional-looking design. I'm open to any creative suggestions, but I know what I'm looking for, and I'm confident that I can work with the freelancer to craft a product that I will be proud to put my name on.
This is my first time hiring someone like this. I would appreciate seeing examples of your work. I would also like it if you are familiar with KDP Kindle publishing, which is part of Amazon.
I would also appreciate names / email / text where I can check your references.
When I decide on the artist, I will send you my idea / mock ups for the covers.
As far as pricing, I want to be fair. $500 each? You help me decide with how many hours you spend, etc. When I see $500, I think of someone making $30 per hour working on the cover for 16 hours. [removed by admin]
Timing - flexible - would like to look at the quality of the product - maybe you do a first version from the cover art mock up I send - then I could review and give feedback - and you make a final. The books are a "part 1" and a "part 2" so I would like the look / feel to match . . . the font / lettering especially.
I am new to this . . . but I think when it is done, you will send me digital images - which I upload to the Kindle KDP site.
