Book Formatting for Amazon KDP | New Freelancers Welcome

My manuscript is finished. I'm seeking an experienced Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) professional to professionally format my nonfiction manuscript for publication on Amazon Kindle.

This project is for the Kindle ebook version only.

Paperback and hardcover formatting will be awarded IMMEDIATELY as separate projects AFTER the successful completion of this Kindle ebook project. Word (.docx) manuscript page count: 495 pages.

You may be a new to freelancing. But you must have experience formatting manuscripts for Amazon KDP to be considered for this project. You must be able to prove your book formatting experience.

MAX PAY IS $100 USD for this Kindle project.

Scope of Work
The successful freelancer will professionally format my manuscript for Kindle using Amazon KDP best practices.

Formatting should include:

Kindle-ready EPUB
Professional chapter formatting
Consistent heading hierarchy
Proper paragraph styling and spacing
Clickable Table of Contents
Front matter formatting (Copyright, Disclaimer, Table of Contents, etc.)
Back matter formatting (About the Author, Resources, etc.)
Clean navigation throughout the ebook
Validation to ensure the file is accepted by Amazon KDP

Deliverables
Final Kindle-ready EPUB file ready for upload to Amazon KDP

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)
To be considered for this project, you must provide three (3) Amazon Kindle books that you personally formatted and that are currently published on Amazon KDP. Be prepared to provide proof.

For each book, include:

The Amazon.com product link
Confirmation that you personally completed the Kindle formatting

IMPORTANT: I will review each book before selecting a freelancer. If you cannot provide three published Amazon Kindle books that you personally formatted, do NOT submit a proposal. I am looking for freelancers who can demonstrate their own published formatting work.

Revision Policy
Up to two (3) rounds of formatting revisions after the initial delivery

Manuscript
The manuscript will be provided in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
The manuscript is complete. This project is for formatting only.
Word (.docx) manuscript page count: 495 pages.

This Project Does NOT Include
Editing
Proofreading
Content rewriting
Book cover design
Paperback formatting
Hardcover formatting
Index creation
Custom illustrations or graphic design
There are no images, charts or graphs, in the book

Freelancer Requirements
Apply only if you:
Have extensive Amazon KDP formatting experience
Have successfully formatted multiple nonfiction Kindle books
Are familiar with Amazon KDP formatting requirements
Can produce clean, professional, error-free EPUB files
Can communicate clearly and meet agreed deadlines

Include the following with your proposal:
Your fixed-price quote
Your estimated turnaround time for a 495 page book
The three (3) required Amazon KDP book links described above

This is the first book in an ongoing publishing program. High-quality work may IMMEDIATELY lead to additional projects, including paperback formatting, hardcover formatting, book cover design, and future Kindle titles.
