Book Formatting and cover design for Kindle, Paperback & eBook Distribution (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.)
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Project Description:
I’m looking for an experienced book formatter to professionally format a non-fiction book (approx. 16000 words and 85-90 pages for publishing on Kindle (Amazon KDP), paperback, and potentially other platforms such as IngramSpark or Apple Books. The book is complete and has been edited. It is a technical/business book targeted at project managers, product owners, and developers entering the AI space. Please note that payment will be made only after reviewing the cover design and formatting.
Deliverables:
• Properly formatted manuscript files for:
• Amazon Kindle (MOBI or EPUB)
• Paperback (PDF with correct trim size and margins)
• ePub for other platforms (Apple Books, Kobo, etc.)
• Clickable table of contents
• Chapter title stylings, callouts, consistent headings/subheadings
• Clean layout with proper line spacing, paragraph indents, and page breaks
• Page numbers and running headers/footers for print version
• Front/back matter formatting and graphic design cover (acknowledgments, table of contents, about the author, etc.)
• Visual consistency across formats (e.g., formatting code snippets, tips, or tables where needed)
Bonus (optional but appreciated):
• Experience formatting technical or business books
• Ability to suggest layout tweaks or catch formatting issues
• Knowledge of Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) submission requirements
• Familiarity with AI/tech-related books
