ePub & Print Formatting for Guide
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
I have a 50-page practitioner’s guide that now needs a polished, publication-ready layout in two formats—print/PDF and EPUB. Because this is meant to serve as a quick-reference manual, clarity and consistency are critical.
I haven’t locked in a house style, so I’m counting on your professional judgment for typography, heading hierarchy, margins, running headers, and overall visual rhythm. The manuscript already contains several elements that must flow cleanly: tables and charts that should scale well on different devices, illustrative images, and a number of lists and bullet points that call for precise indentation and spacing.
What I will supply:
• Final Word document (and any original graphics)
• A brief note on the intended audience and tone
What I need back:
• Print-ready PDF with embedded fonts and bleeds set correctly
• Validated EPUB that meets current EPUB 3 standards and passes flightcheck in Apple Books and Kindle Previewer
• Working source files (InDesign or equivalent) so I can make future updates
If you have an eye for detail and experience preparing both fixed-layout and reflowable ebooks, I’d love to see samples of similar projects you’ve completed.
