Fixed Layout Book Formatting

I have a completed manuscript sitting in a single Word document that now needs to look and read like a professionally published digital book. I want the final file delivered in a true fixed-layout design—no reflow, no automated conversions—so the positioning of every heading, paragraph, image, and call-out stays exactly where I intend it, page after page.


Key things you’ll handle: typesetting, page breaks, margins, running headers/footers, image placement, front- and back-matter styling, plus any tiny tweaks that preserve the visual integrity of the layout across common e-reading environments. I’m open on the final export format (PDF, EPUB, or MOBI) and will decide once I see what best maintains the fixed layout you create.

Please bring proven experience with InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or any equivalent layout tool that can produce pixel-perfect fixed files, and be ready to share at least one sample of a fixed-layout eBook you’ve shipped before.
