Amazon Self-Help Ebook Preparation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’ve just wrapped up a self-help manuscript and am ready for it to meet the world on Amazon. To make that happen I need three things handled smoothly from start to finish:
• A striking, modern cover that relies on strong typography as the main visual hook. If you feel a subtle graphic accent could elevate the concept, I’m open to your creative suggestions, but the text must stay center-stage.
• Clean interior formatting of my existing Word document—no editing, simply layout. The final file should comply with Kindle Direct Publishing guidelines so it displays flawlessly on every device.
• Uploading the finished ebook to my KDP dashboard. I’ll provide temporary login details; you’ll handle the metadata entry, file uploads, and quick checks to be sure everything passes Amazon’s previewer.
Deliverables will be:
1. High-resolution ebook cover (JPEG, 2560 × 1600 px or higher per KDP specs).
2. KDP-ready interior file (DOCX and the converted EPUB/MOBI if you prefer to export it yourself).
3. A brief hand-off note confirming the book is live in my account or queued for Amazon review.
If you’ve shipped titles through KDP before and love crafting bold, text-led designs, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this.
