Force directed Euler diagram

Create an interactive graph similar to “Force Layout Cells”, you can interact with the example here :
observablehq.com/@pjsier/force-layout-cells

The graph must have an added capability: representing overlapping sets.
The resulting graph may be built with:
-d3.js
-SVG + javascript
-... other technology suitable for easy integration in a web app.
