We have a new request for a website.
It wll be a Drupal 8 website because they may want to give each hostel access to their own file at a later stage so that they can edit it themselves. Please note that this should not be included in the price quote at the moment! But for safety's sake it is best to go for Drupal already because of the different rights per user.
The website should be a simple landing page with a list of the different hostels (a grid as you can see on https://www.yha.com.au/hostels). Please note that the grid should be correctly aligned when e.g. one hostel has little text and another hostel has more text. The button "DETAILS" should simply be a button "VISIT WEBSITE" with an external link to their website.
On the other hand, there should also be a possibility to show a map of all hostels via Google maps like https://www.jeugdherbergen.be/nl/hostels.
Sorting by title, etc. is needed as well as filters on the left hand side. Filter by Province - Member Hostelling International - Approved by Tourism Flanders - Registered with Tourism Flanders - Guest kitchen - Availability for large groups. These are currently the filters we provide as an example. It is certainly the intention that filters can be added easily without your intervention. The Google maps should of course also work with the filters.
The back office needs to be user-friendly so that users can add, edit and/or delete hostels themselves in a simple way. They should also be able to create the extra filters themselves.
As the project will be supported by Tourism Flanders, we can take over some colours from them (see https://www.toerismevlaanderen.be/). I think for example of only the call-2-action buttons in yellow and black (may not be too extreme in yellow). Like the call-2-action button "DETAILS" on https://www.yha.com.au/hostels/.
A simple footer should be provided like https://cjt.be (footer) and there will be no menu bar, so no other buttons/pages. Only the landing page with the overview.
