Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Drupal 10 developer to assist us in the final stages of our website development. Our large upgraded Drupal site is catalogued with hundreds of products but does not have any ecommerce oe shopping functionality. We are close to completion (95% done) and need to find someone to help us get to the finish line.
We require a developer with strong skills in Drupal, PHP, CSS, and HTML to help us with quality assurance, testing, CSS styling, content migration, and to provide training on the Drupal 10 backend and page editor.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and be comfortable working and making HTML / CSS edits in real-time collaboration through web conferences. Additionally, we have a list of HTML, CSS, Drupal edits, and bug fixes that need to be addressed.
Responsibilities:
Perform quality assurance (QA) and thorough testing of the website to ensure functionality and performance.
Make real-time edits to CSS/HTML as needed through live web conferences, and address a predefined list of edits, bug fixes, and improvements in Drupal, HTML, and CSS.
Assist with content migration and ensure that all content is accurately placed and displayed.
Provide training on the use of Drupal 10’s backend and page editor for both the hiring team and the client.
Collaborate closely with the team to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet these needs.
Suggest and implement improvements for site performance, security, and scalability.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Drupal developer, specifically with Drupal 10.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with site building, module development, and theming in Drupal.
Ability to work in real-time collaboration and comfortable with web conference tools, as well as independently on non-real-time tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills.
A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates your expertise in Drupal development.
Knowledge of best practices in web development, including SEO and accessibility.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to provide training and support to team members and clients.
Nice to Have:
Experience with other CMS platforms.
Knowledge of web development frameworks and libraries.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
