Job Brief: BPMN Model for Drupal ECA & Commerce Automation
Project Description
I am looking for an experienced Drupal developer with expertise in BPMN and the ECA module to create an automated workflow. The goal is to automatically generate a Drupal Commerce product with a product variation from a Webform submission. This should be achieved using a BPMN model that can be imported and executed within the ECA module.
Requirements
The BPMN model should include the following steps:
1. Trigger: The workflow is initiated by a Webform submission.
2. Data Processing:
• Generate an automatic product title (e.g., based on form input).
• Create an automatically incrementing unique SKU (e.g., SKU0001, SKU0002, etc.).
• Calculate the product price based on a predefined formula (formula will be provided).
3. Product & Variation Creation in Drupal Commerce:
• The product should be created with the generated SKU, title, and calculated price.
• A default product variation should be assigned.
4. Reference Linking:
• The created product must include a reference back to the original Webform submission.
Technical Requirements
• Drupal 10 with ECA module and Drupal Commerce installed.
• The BPMN file must be compatible with the ECA modeller (BPMN.io).
• If necessary, custom PHP callbacks or Drupal hooks may be used.
Expected Deliverables
• A fully functional BPMN model in .bpmn format, ready for import into Drupal ECA.
• Documentation and explanation of how the model works and how it can be extended.
• If needed: A short setup guide for Drupal.
Freelancer Requirements
• Experience with Drupal module development (especially ECA & Commerce).
• Knowledge of BPMN modeling & workflow automation.
• Familiarity with Drupal Hooks and Entity API is a plus.
