Theodore Mulcher Shoot – Drone & Telephoto
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
This Friday I’m running a half-day shoot in Theodore to capture one of our mulchers tearing through vegetation. The content is headed straight into marketing material, so I need clear, sharp photos and equally crisp 4K video that really show off the machine’s power.
Because the mulcher throws debris, you’ll have to work from a safe distance; a long telephoto lens (400 mm or more) and/or a drone are essential. I’m after three key perspectives: tight close-ups of the cutting head in action, wide establishing shots of the work zone, and dynamic aerials that set the scene from above. Feel free to bring creative ideas, but those three angles are non-negotiable.
Deliverables (same day or overnight via Dropbox)
• RAW + high-res JPEG stills
• 4K video clips in a flat or log profile, clean of overlays
• A quick reference sheet noting any standout takes or still frame numbers
Please come prepared with your own PPE, batteries, cards, and the right clearances to fly if you’re putting a drone up. Once the footage is safely uploaded, the job’s done and we can discuss a follow-up edit if it interests you.
