Machinery Catalogue Photo Shoot
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I’m updating the entire Symforklifts.com catalogue and need a skilled photographer on-site in Tweed Heads (NSW 2483). The job centres on capturing every piece of machinery and its attachments with crisp, traditional-camera images, then delivering fully edited files I can drop straight into print and web layouts.
Here’s what the session involves:
• Shot variety – full-body views to show scale, tight close-ups for key components, plus a few in-action frames so customers see each unit working.
• Two settings – an indoor warehouse area for controlled lighting and an outdoor lot for context and scale. Weather can be unpredictable, so please factor that into your scheduling.
• Gear – I have a drone on hand if you’d like supplementary aerial angles, but the core work must be done on a high-resolution DSLR or mirrorless system with appropriate lenses and lighting. Bring your own kit or feel free to use mine; image quality is non-negotiable.
• Output – colour-corrected, retouched JPEGs (and layered PSDs or RAW on request), organised by model name/number. I’m aiming for a press-ready resolution (300 dpi) and a consistent aspect ratio that aligns with our current layout.
After the shoot, you’ll need to perform basic retouching (dust removal, background cleanup, level adjustments) and deliver the final set via cloud link. Please outline your estimated shoot duration, post-production timeline, and any prior heavy-equipment or product-catalogue work when you respond.
