Black Ink Birthday Portrait

I would like a single, hand-drawn ink portrait of my daughter to present at her upcoming birthday. The look I’m after is realistic and strictly black-and-white; no colour washes or mixed media, just confident, expressive line work and tonal shading that captures her likeness and personality.

I’ll provide a high-resolution reference photograph—the pose and expression should match that image—and can share a few extra shots so you can understand her features and character better. Beyond that, I’m happy to give you artistic latitude on composition, background treatment and texture so long as the final piece feels timeless and gift-worthy.

Deliverables
• One original ink drawing on quality illustration paper (A4 or A3)
• A high-resolution, colour-accurate scan (at least 600 dpi) ready for printing or social sharing
• Safe, well-protected shipping of the physical artwork, or confirmation of digital-only delivery if preferred

Once I receive the scan, I’ll check likeness and clarity; after that, any small tweaks can be handled before you ship or send the final file. I’m aiming for a two-to-three-week turnaround but can adjust if your process needs a little more breathing room.
