underground/Hobbit style rental unit

I'm looking to build a one or two-bedroom hobbit-style house. It would be built into a hill or have dirt pushed up to the walls to simulate a small hill. The roof would ideally be dirt/grass but I'm open to faux grass or alternatives. Aesthetics are the main concern. Keeping building and operating costs down is the second concern. I'm open to any suggestions to those ends.
