Wardrobe & Desk Cut List

Job ID: 40348157

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a finished design for a matching wardrobe and study desk and I already know every overall dimension. What I now need is a clear, optimised cut list so I can take the drawings straight to the saw bench.

Materials
• All carcass and panel parts will be cut from MDF, supplied in plywood-sized sheets (so you can treat it like sheet plywood for optimisation purposes).
• Edging, hardware and finishing details are already chosen—I’m only looking for the sheet-stock breakdown.

What I will give you
• PDF or SketchUp file containing the wardrobe and desk elevations, plans and section views with final dimensions.
• Sheet size I can source locally.
• Required allowances for blade kerf and edge banding.

What I expect back
1. A cut list table showing part name, finished size, quantity and material thickness.
2. A nesting layout or optimisation diagram so I can see how the parts fit on the sheets with minimal waste.
3. A brief note flagging any parts that share identical sizes (so I can batch-cut).

File formats can be PDF plus either an Excel sheet or a .CSV. Any cabinetry optimisation software is fine—CutList Plus, SketchCut, MaxCut, or even a well-labelled CAD printout, as long as the information is unambiguous.

With the dimensions already locked down this is a straightforward drafting task; accuracy is key so everything assembles square on site. Let me know your turnaround time and any questions you need answered before you start.
