VIC Residential Working Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have an approved set of planning drawings for a single-family home in (Melbourne) Victoria and now need them transformed into full-scale working drawings suitable for submission to the building surveyor. You will receive the current plans in both PDF and CAD, along with structural engineering, the energy report brief and BAL-19 bushfire notes. Using AutoCAD, please develop a coordinated drawing package that satisfies all standard Victorian Building Regulations and NCC requirements—no additional local amendments apply.
Because the design has already cleared planning, the focus is on documentation accuracy and permit readiness:
• Re-draft every sheet at construction detail level, including floor plans, elevations, sections, wall/roof details, lighting/electrical, window schedules and notes.
• Cross-reference the supplied engineering and energy data so structural call-outs, insulation values and BAL-19 provisions appear in the right locations.
• Provide dimensions, materials, levels and annotation consistent with VBA expectations for a domestic building permit.
I would prefer someone already registered or licensed as a draftsman in Victoria (or equivalent demonstrable experience) who knows the local drawing conventions and can turn comments around quickly. The final deliverable is a clean, layered .DWG file plus an issued-for-permit PDF set, ready within two weeks.
