Steel Structure House Draft Design

Project Title:

Draft Structural Design Drawings for a Steel Structure House

Project Description:

I am looking for a qualified structural engineer or designer to prepare draft structural design drawings for a steel structure residential building.

I already have the architectural drawings of the project. The building consists of:

Basement: reinforced concrete structure (already designed)

Level 0 and Level 1: to be designed as a steel structure

The steel structure columns must start from the existing reinforced concrete columns in the basement. The main framing system should be designed using HEA and IPE steel sections (European profiles).

Deliverables:

Draft structural design drawings (in DWG or PDF format)

General arrangement plan, elevations, and sections showing steel members

Preliminary sizing and layout of beams, columns, and connections

Provided by Client:

Architectural drawings (in PDF/DWG format)

Basement structural drawings (reinforced concrete)

Any additional site or design data needed

Preferred Freelancer:

Structural engineer or designer with experience in steel structures

Proficient in AutoCAD

Familiar with Eurocode or equivalent design standards

Notes:

This stage is for a draft design only — no detailed connection or fabrication drawings are required at this point.
