Residential Wiring Diagram Drafting
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
My new residential build in Nagpur has reached the mid-construction phase, and I need a clear, professional wiring diagram that the on-site electricians can follow without second-guessing anything. Walls are still open, conduits are being placed, and this is the ideal window to finalise circuit runs, breaker sizing, and switchboard locations before plastering begins.
Scope
• Translate my room-by-room requirements (lighting points, sockets, AC lines, inverter backup, bell, internet, CCTV) into a single-line wiring diagram with circuit numbers and wire gauge notes.
• Indicate MCB ratings and a sensible load balance across phases; the utility supply is three-phase, 230/415 V.
• Mark out earthing and lightning arrestor routes so the civil team can leave sleeves in the slab.
• Deliver layered DWG/PDF files that my contractor can print at A3 and annotate on site.
I’m not tied to any formal code—no specific NEC or IS citation is required—yet the drawing must reflect best practice for safety and maintainability. Use AutoCAD, Revit, or any standard CAD platform you prefer; I only need the final DWG and a flattened PDF.
Timeline
I can share the architectural floor plan (AutoCAD) and a rough sketch of desired switch positions the moment we start. I’d like a first draft within four days, with two quick revision rounds before sign-off.
If you have residential wiring experience and can think through load paths instead of just tracing lines, let’s get this wrapped up so my mason can close the chases on schedule.
