Mechanical Panel CAD & Fabrication
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need an experienced AutoCAD professional who also understands real-world panel fabrication. The job centres on mechanical panel design for distribution panels; I already have functional requirements, but I need clean CAD files that show the overall layout, mounting pattern, external dimensions and clearances. Because these drawings will go straight to the shop floor, your knowledge of bend allowances, hardware allowances and material call-outs is crucial.
Deliverables:
• AutoCAD .dwg (and matching .dxf) files showing the full panel outline, hole locations and fold lines
• A brief fabrication note sheet that lists material thickness, finish, and any critical tolerances
• A quick PDF export suitable for client sign-off
Acceptance criteria: all dimensions must be in millimetres/inches, geometry must be clean and on appropriate layers, and the file must open without proxy errors in AutoCAD 2020.
If you can turn basic layout information into production-ready drawings while keeping manufacturability in mind, let’s get started.
