Include all parts, dimensions, and original notes/descriptions
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I will send you a scanned CT-4 Airtrainer plan that currently mixes build notes with the drawings. Your task is to isolate every aircraft component—wing, fuselage, ribs and all remaining parts—then trace them accurately in CAD so the whole plan is sharp, scale-correct and print-ready.
Target scale is 1 : 10 with a final wingspan of exactly 1128 mm. Please keep all original proportions and geometry intact; I simply need the clutter removed and any faint or broken lines restored so the file can drive both foam-board templates and balsa cut-outs later.
Preferred formats
• Clean vector DXF as the master file
• Print-ready PDF laid out on a single A0 sheet (no tiling needed on my end)
Dimensions, part numbers and the brief notes that appear on the original plan should be redrawn exactly where they sit now so nothing is lost during the build.
Acceptance will be based on:
• Measured wingspan matching 1128 mm in the DXF/PDF
• All parts fitting together without gaps when overlaid digitally
• Line weights and text legible at full size on A0
If you normally work in AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Illustrator or Inkscape that’s fine—just make sure the exported DXF opens cleanly in AutoCAD 2018 or later.
Once complete, deliver the files and I’ll handle printing locally.
