Convert Boat Plans to CAD

I need to convert paper plans of a small (8 ft long) simple sailboat into CAD drawings. The focus should be on the hull. The CAD drawings should provide a basic outline and dimensions of the 8 frames. Full size frames would be best, so that the foam material or plywood can be cut diretly from the programme. Although the specific format for the CAD drawings is not known, I am open to options such as DWG, DXF, or STP.
