Boundary Survey CAD Drafting Assistance
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run a professional land-surveying firm in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and our workload of Boundary Surveys has outgrown my in-house drafting capacity. I’m looking to partner with a U.S.-based CAD drafter—ideally someone already working in the Southeast—who knows Carlson Survey inside and out and can step in on a project-by-project basis.
Here’s how the workflow looks:
• I’ll send you a Carlson-compatible DWG that already contains rough linework, together with the pertinent deeds and a location sketch.
• You’ll clean it up, conform everything to the DWG template I provide (text styles, layers, linetypes, symbols, legends, title block, etc.), and draft a finished Boundary Survey that is ready to plot.
• Every drawing must clearly show property lines and dimensions, easements and right-of-ways, existing structures and landmarks, plus the full legal description. Accuracy to the hundredth of a foot and consistency with our standards are non-negotiable.
