Architectural Section Development + Detail
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
# SCOPE OF WORK
## DRAFTING OF BUILDING SECTIONS AND ROOF DETAIL
### OBJECTIVE
Prepare Architectural Sections #1, #2, and #3, as well as the Roof Detail identified in the project CAD file and accompanying sketches.
### SCOPE OF WORK
1. Develop Architectural Sections #1, #2, and #3 as complete building sections based on the floor plans and the section-cut locations indicated in the drawings.
2. Use the completed Section #4 and North Elevation as the primary references for the following:
* Interior partition and exterior wall thicknesses.
* CMU wall dimensions and assemblies.
* Truss sizes and roof-framing configuration.
* Floor, ceiling, and roof assembly thicknesses.
* Exterior and interior finish thicknesses.
* Vertical dimensions and building relationships.
* Drafting standards, annotations, line weights, and overall graphic quality.
3. Prepare the Roof Detail indicated in the sketches and coordinate it with the building design, roof geometry, wall assemblies, structural framing, and applicable construction conditions.
### IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
* Do not trace, copy, or redraw the provided sketches. The sketches are intended solely to communicate the design intent and serve as section/elevation references.
* Portions of the exterior elevations and vertical building relationships may be interpreted from the sketches where applicable.
* All sections and details shall be developed from scratch by coordinating the floor plans, section-cut locations, sketches, and the construction information established in Section #4.
* Verify all wall assemblies, framing conditions, roof geometry, floor and ceiling assemblies, and finish thicknesses against the project drawings and Section #4.
* Maintain the same drafting style, line weights, labeling, annotation standards, and level of detail used in Section #4.
* Coordinate all visible elements in section, including walls, partitions, openings, stairs, floors, ceilings, roof framing, finishes, and exterior architectural features.
* Do not assume or introduce construction conditions that are not supported by the plans, sketches, or Section #4. Any unclear or conflicting information shall be identified before completing the affected area.
### COMMUNICATION
If any questions, comments, or uncertainties arise during the drafting process, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be available to clarify the project intent, explain any design or construction requirements, and provide the necessary guidance to ensure the work is completed accurately and consistently with the project standards.
### FILE FORMAT & DELIVERY
* All drafting work shall be completed and saved in **AutoCAD 2016 (.DWG)** format to ensure compatibility with the project files.
* The completed CAD file, including all required sections and roof detail, shall be submitted no later than **Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM (U.S. Eastern Time).**
### DELIVERABLES
* Architectural Section #1.
* Architectural Section #2.
* Architectural Section #3.
* Roof Detail as indicated in the sketches.
All work shall be completed directly within the project CAD file using the existing layers, drawing standards, file organization, annotations, and sheet setup.
