Adversary Bankruptcy Appeal Drafting

Job ID: 39831126

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a seasoned bankruptcy researcher-drafter to help me overturn a recent ruling. I will supply the complete set of court-filed papers along with the key prior decisions already cited in the record. Your first task is to comb through those materials, identify every factual or procedural weakness, and highlight where the judge may have misapplied controlling Bankruptcy law.

Once you have mapped the weaknesses, I want a concise research brief that pulls the strongest authorities—statutory text, recent circuit splits, and persuasive bankruptcy court opinions—to show why the decision cannot stand on its current legal footing. The focus is strictly on bankruptcy doctrine; contract or consumer-protection angles are not relevant here.

With the review memo and case law in hand, you will then craft a fully-formatted draft of the adversary proceeding/notice of appeal. This draft must be ready for filing, complete with jurisdictional statements, statement of issues, proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law, and a clear prayer for relief that challenges the legal basis of the ruling.

Deliverables (all in Word or editable PDF):
• Issue-spotting memo summarizing defects in the ruling
• Research brief with pinpoint citations to Bankruptcy Code and precedent
• Draft adversary complaint and accompanying appeal documents

I would like the initial memo within one week, the research brief by day ten, and the final draft appeal no later than day fourteen so I have time for internal review before filing.
