vb.net Road Map Display Generator

I have developed a nice vb.net application where I am scheduling work crews to go from location to location. Each location has a decimal lat/long in order by start/end date for that crew. I would like to show a route map from location to location.
I am in need of an expert in vb.net, ideally with a strong understanding of GPS systems and maps. The deliverable would be a chunk of vb.net code that can generate a road map using latitude/longitude values stored in decimal degrees from a database. The route map should also include each waypoint with the name of location as markers for the work locations. The expected abilities are:
