Windows Inventory Management System
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a small, offline-first inventory application that installs and runs natively on Windows. The workflow is straightforward: record purchases, record sales, and view an item-wise stock ledger that updates automatically after every transaction. One universal access level is fine—no role management required.
You may develop in any language or framework you prefer (.NET, Java, Python, Electron, etc.) as long as the final deliverable includes a hassle-free Windows installer and stores its data locally (SQLite, SQL Server Express, or a comparable embedded option). A clean, intuitive interface and responsive data validation are important; optional niceties like exporting the ledger to Excel/PDF would be a plus if they come at no extra complexity.
Deliverables
• Windows installer and runnable executable
• Complete, human-readable source code with build instructions
• Brief user guide showing how to enter a purchase, a sale, and generate the stock ledger
Acceptance Criteria
I will load sample items, record a few purchase and sales entries, and verify that the ledger shows correct opening, inward, outward, and closing quantities for each SKU without errors.
If anything here needs clarification, let me know before you start so the scope stays tight and predictable.
