C++ Windows Feature Expansion - 29/05/2026 12:50 EDT
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My existing desktop application is a Windows-only build that’s written entirely in C++. The core codebase is clean and stable, but several new capabilities are on the roadmap and I need an experienced developer to weave them straight into the current solution.
Once we start, I’ll give you access to the repository, a short feature backlog, and the build instructions I use in Visual Studio. Typical tasks involve extending the present UI, adding small workflow utilities, and tightening a few performance-critical areas. I expect self-contained commits, clear inline comments, and a brief change log so the rest of the team can follow your work.
Deliverables
• Updated C++ source integrated into the existing project and compiling without warnings
• All new functionality demonstrably working inside the running application
• A concise markdown file summarising changes, build steps, and any extra dependencies
If you’ve previously expanded Windows desktop apps in C++, let me know what you shipped and how quickly you can be available for a short onboarding call.
