Budget: $35 – $75 USD
We need a solution in C# that checks a file's custom document properties and, if tagged correctly, provides a different, and larger icon.
For example, a folder with many Word files but one or two are tagged with a specific custom document property leading to an alternative, larger icon display.
While swapping out an icon is easy enough, having some icons larger than others appears to be more challenging.
You must have prior experience with Windows Explorer extensions, Windows Shell, the SharpShell library for .Net, etc.
Please detail your experience and please detail alternative approaches to these wrapper libraries which fall short (i.e. native DLLs and APIs).
