Windows Application Developer
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am looking for someone who is familiar with application development in Windows. I have a staff of ~12 people who work remotely more and more often. While there are various 'off the shelf' options for monitoring and interacting with staff remotely nothing really seems to tick all of my boxes or if it does, it's expensive over the long term (it seems impossible to purchase any software outright now, everything is a monthly subscription). Given that I am setting the company up for the next 10 years of growth, it makes sense to make an investment into some software of our own.
Attached is a screen capture of one of the views that I get from hubstaff.com. The detail with this software (overall) is good, but the screen captures are just not frequent enough. My staff perform a lot of small tasks over the day and higher frequency screenshots will not only allow me to see the speed at which some of the smaller tasks are being done, but if a mistake has been made the screenshots would be an excellent tool to quickly see there the mistake was made and offer training on how to stop it from happening again
To start with, I would like to develop a very basic application that runs in the background, takes screen captures and simply saves them to local storage. From there, I can sync images to the cloud and write web software to do something meaningful with them.
I have a strong background in programming but mostly in web development (PHP / Javascript / Python etc). I would very much like to be involved with the development of the software so I can 'learn the ropes' with a basic Windows application.
