Upgrade and Modify C#/.NET Sound ID Program
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
We have a C# program running .NET 9 and targeting W7. It needs an upgrade to .NET 10/11 and W10/11. A module within it is .Net 4.6 and that module needs to be upgraded too.
This is the first part of the project and should be done first.
The second part is a number of mainly minor fixes, that we have been living with but it would be better they were attended to.
The third part is done after this and is as follows.
The program needs to be modified. It currently can ID any sound (but is mainly used to ID bird calls). The result is written to an SQL . It uses Parallel Processing. We want to retain this function but alternatively recognise small call segments (1-15 minutes)and output the result at the end of that time. The output will provide and action to an external device (a drone), if the target is ID'd.The current version is about 100x faster than real time on an i9.
The code is about 20,000 lines and is modular and well written.
