Touchscreen - Clockcard (payroll) system for transport company
Budget: $229 – $1,487 AUD
Using Ms SQL / .net architecture, you will build a system with four front ends:
1. A touchscreen web UI for drivers to use upon arrival/departure at the depot to record their start time, view their jobs, and see their vehicle allocation. This same interface will be used at the end of the day to log any defects they may encounter and record the breaks taken.
2. An admin portal that can review time card entries, and export that data for importing into Quickbooks. Use the portal to help guide decisions on the best group of drivers to call/SMS based on when the evening drivers logged off (in accordance with fatigue rules)
3. A mobile portal for drivers to accomplish much of (3) if they're away from home that night
4. A portal for the mechanic to review vehicle defect reports.
This system is to be built within 40 days.
Before bidding, verify you've read this description by including the time limit in the first line of your response - all other proposals ignored.
A document is attached with more specific requirements.
The principal desire for this task from a UI point of view is that it is crystal clear, and easy to use (for our aging workforce). The portal to happily run on a Raspberry Pi connected to a touchscreen monitor (so not a resource hog).
This task will involve pulling a limited amount of data from another system. I don't have all the details on this yet and so if I am unable to provide this, then this requirement will not affect your completion requirements.
I would expect that this task is completed within 40 days upon handover.
A bonus will be paid for each day should this project be delivered early.
A -200% penalty will apply for each day that it is delivered late (unless I'm at fault for causing the delay).
Minimal to nil graphics are required for this task - but it must be older-people-friendly.
If there's something not clear in this proposal or the attached document, please make this clear (point out your question) in your bid.
Thanks for your time.
