The Sage Greenboard Software Re-develop .NET

Job Request: The Sage Greenboard Software Enhancement
Project Description:
We require the development or recreation of our existing The Sage Greenboard software (boardroom meeting management solution), currently built using Yii (PHP framework). The goal is to re-develop and significantly enhance the functionality of the software with new features using .NET / ASP.
Current Software:
- Built with Yii (PHP framework)
- Functionality focused on:
- Managing Director’s data
- Managing, scheduling and holding online meetings
- Document management (Document Packs) and live annotations on PDF
Desired Enhancements:
- Develop and integrate a variety of new features, including (but not limited to):
- Integration with Active Directory (Azure)
- Ability to add Meeting Minutes or Notes, live, during meeting. - Currently can communicate with others in committee in chatzone. The minutes are currently added as PDF under each relevant line item.
- News feed (live) not just uploaded documents (announcements) – Provide feedback regarding company updates, news about industry, live national news.
- Separate section with training features like videos and documents
- User can request professional training – Training from the supplier of the software (e.g. new employee etc)
- Offline functionality, Edit/annotate offline (Download, edit, upload OR using an APP)
- Transcription ability for the meeting (Voice to text)
- Linking physical address to google maps (Google API)
- Provide templates, and upload on the portal - Enable customer to edit and also add own template
- Download printable documents with or without annotations (According to User Permissions)
- Documents Versioning – This is critical and feature to determine how and when documents and updated
- Voting/Polls live per meeting – Voting on matters concerning matters discuss in the specific meeting.
- Tasks per meeting allocated to specific members (Action Points) – Individual task dashboard for the members
- Provide Task dashboard that shows summary of meeting for the month.
- Provide Task dashboard that shows summary of action points and resolution points
- Provide Task dashboard that shows summary of which action points have not been done yet. (Pending)
- Electronic signatures for document/Pack sign off - Ability to sign off, minutes or official documents
- Upload size of documents needs to be improved. (10MB currently) – This poses a challenge, as document needs to be divided into sections. Can possibly provide ability to upload 50mb document)
- Update terms and condition on the site (Consider the PoPi Act and data acts)
- Improve the Settings/Configuration of the application, also to improve installation/setup (Logo, Company Name, ...) – Remove logo for The Sage Greenboard – ensure only Sage Informatics logo displayed. Provide option for Sage SA, Sage India, Sage Canada – on portal depending on Geo
- Live tracking Licensing/subscription of the application – Improving licensing control especially if we obtain soft application.
- Improve Security aspect of the application – Implement 2 Factor authentication
- Improve inclusive of the encryption of documentations
- Possibly redevelop application on Microsoft Platform and also use Microsoft functionality like Transcribe, Authentication to improve product
- Also then be able to list the application on the Microsoft Store
- Improve user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for a more intuitive and efficient workflow.
- Ensure the software remains secure and compliant with relevant data privacy regulations.
- Create a One for all single deployment for Multiple users/companies or subscribers.
- Be able to duplicate instance for Single company implementation.
- Offline document management functionality.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proven experience in development with .NET / ASP framework.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
- Experience with building web applications with a focus on UI/UX.
- Experience with building web applications on Microsoft Azure
Additional Considerations:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on similar projects (a plus).
Deliverables:
- Fully functional The Sage Greenboard software with all new features implemented.
- Clean and well-documented codebase.
- Unit and integration tests for the new functionalities.
- User documentation for the new features.
