Simple Windows Typewriter App

I’ve started building a lightweight typewriter application for Windows whose sole purpose is to let the user open it and type—nothing more. No bold, italics, or spell-check distractions; just a clean canvas that captures keystrokes and saves the text. I need you to step in, finish the code, and package a small installer so anyone on Windows 10/11 can run it without extra dependencies.
You’ll receive my current source (written in C# with WinForms) and a short list of remaining tasks: polishing the main text area, wiring up basic file-open / save-as dialogs, and adding an unobtrusive word-count status bar. Once that’s complete, compile, sign, and deliver both the executable and the updated source.
Acceptance criteria:
• The app launches instantly on a stock Windows machine.
• Typing latency is imperceptible, even on large documents.
• Only plain-text files (.txt) are handled; formatting features remain disabled.
• Final installer is under 10 MB and passes Windows Defender SmartScreen.
