Senior .NET/Blazor Engineer for Ongoing Support

Job ID: 40507524

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

Title: Senior .NET / Blazor Engineer — Production Support & Bug Resolution (Ongoing)

About the project:
PostZam is a live production SaaS — a multi-platform social video publisher (app.postzam.com) built on .NET 10 / Blazor, hosted on DigitalOcean (multi-server architecture: app, FFmpeg video processing, admin), with PostgreSQL, Postmark transactional email, Authorize.net payments, PWA delivery, and deep API integrations (Google Gemini, YouTube Data API, Meta Graph, TikTok, LinkedIn, X). U.S.-based company, founded 2014, launching publicly now.
The role:
We need a senior engineer who finds root causes — not one who patches symptoms. You'll own production bug diagnosis and resolution, code review of work from our existing development team, and hardening of a live system serving paying customers. This is ongoing support work with consistent hours, starting immediately.
What you'll work on:

Diagnosing and fixing production bugs across the full stack: Blazor front-end behavior (PWA install triggers, browser event handling, BroadcastChannel/polling patterns), backend services, transactional email triggers, third-party API resilience (retry/backoff, model fallback, timeout handling)
Reviewing commits and merges for correctness — including proper merge-conflict resolution and git hygiene (environment config separation, .gitignore discipline)
Building resilience around external dependencies (Google Gemini API, social platform APIs) so upstream failures never reach the user
Verifying fixes end-to-end with evidence: logs, payloads, screen recordings, commit hashes

Requirements:

7+ years .NET, strong recent Blazor (Server/WebAssembly) experience — .NET 8/10
Proven production debugging skill: you diagnose from logs and payloads, you reproduce before you fix, and you prove fixes with artifacts
Real experience with PWAs (manifest, service workers, install lifecycle), REST API integration patterns (retry, backoff, circuit breakers), and PostgreSQL
Git fluency including merge-conflict resolution done right
Strong written English — clear, direct status reporting. We work on evidence: commit hashes and test results, not status prose
Available for ongoing work with overlap to U.S. Eastern hours

How we hire:
Short interview, then one paid trial task: we hand you a real, already-diagnosed production bug with our findings. You fix it, prove it with artifacts, and walk us through the root cause. Strong trial = immediate ongoing engagement.
Our standard, stated plainly: "Done" means demonstrated — a fix isn't closed until it passes on our machines with the commit hash attached. If you work that way naturally, you'll fit here on day one.
To apply: Send your Blazor production experience, one example of a gnarly bug you root-caused (what it looked like, what it actually was), and your hourly rate.
